Thank you for using Walkable. This website is owned and operated by Sah Kilic trading as Walkable (“we”, “us” or “our”).
By accessing or using walkable.com.au and any related services (together, the Service), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (Terms), which include our Privacy Policy and Disclaimer. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, you must immediately stop using the Service.
1. The Service
Walkable is a free-to-use online tool that helps users evaluate the walkability and liveability of Australian neighbourhoods. The Service provides:
- Proximity and travel-time estimates to nearby supermarkets, gyms and public transport stops.
- Public transport timetable information (Melbourne and Victoria) via the PTV Timetable API.
- Historical median property price and rental statistics at the suburb level.
- The ability to save custom addresses and star points of interest for signed-in users.
- An investor dashboard showing historical price and rent trends.
All data and estimates provided through the Service are for general information purposes only. See our Disclaimer for important limitations on the accuracy and use of this information.
2. Account registration
Some features of the Service (saving places, syncing data across devices) require you to create an account. Account registration is managed by Clerk. To create an account, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Provide accurate and current personal information.
- Keep your login credentials secure and not share them with others.
- Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. We are not liable for any loss arising from unauthorised use of your account.
3. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and disclose your personal information. By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree to the collection and use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.
The Service uses third-party providers including Mapbox, Clerk, Supabase, Google and Vercel. Your use of the Service involves disclosure of certain data to those providers as described in the Privacy Policy.
4. Acceptable use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not:
- Violate any applicable Australian or international law or regulation.
- Infringe the intellectual property rights of any person.
- Send or upload any content that is harmful, defamatory, obscene or otherwise objectionable.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service, our systems or networks.
- Scrape, harvest or systematically extract data from the Service without our prior written consent.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its underlying infrastructure.
- Reproduce or redistribute suburb-level property price or rental data obtained through the Service for commercial purposes without prior written permission.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service for any user who breaches these Terms.
5. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, we own or license all intellectual property rights in the Service, including its design, software, content and branding. Nothing in these Terms grants you any rights to use our intellectual property other than as necessary to use the Service for its intended purpose.
Property price and rental data is sourced from third-party data providers. Map data and imagery is provided by Mapbox and its data sources (including OpenStreetMap contributors). Public transport data is provided by Public Transport Victoria. These data sources are subject to their own terms and licences.
6. Third-party services and links
The Service relies on third-party services (Mapbox, Google, PTV, Clerk, Supabase, Vercel). We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy or performance of those services. Your use of those services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.
The Service may contain links to external websites. We are not responsible for the content or practices of those websites.
7. No financial or investment advice
The property price and rental information provided through the Service is for general informational purposes only. It does not constitute financial product advice, property investment advice, or a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any property or financial product. You should seek independent professional advice before making any property or investment decision.

8. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without any warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any defects will be corrected.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all liability for any loss or damage (including indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss) arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service, regardless of whether such loss was foreseeable or we had been advised of its possibility.
Where consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law apply and cannot be excluded, our liability is limited, at our option, to re-supplying the Service or paying the cost of having the Service re-supplied.
10. Changes to the Service and these Terms
We may modify or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time by publishing the revised version on this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Victoria, Australia. You submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria for any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Service.
